Synopsis
This extremely brief film was Osamu Tezuka's answer to a challenge presented to the leaders of the international animation community to create animated self-portraits.

Production Notes
Nineteen animators from five countries collaborated on a project to animate their own faces. The results were screened at various animation festivals in each of the representatives' home countries. Osamu Tezuka was one of the three Japanese animators to participate. Jigazou was shown at the Zagreb International Animation Film Festival in June 1988.
