Synopsis

The Japanese team have been selected to compete in the World Junior Championships. Kozue, Midori, Kakinouchi and the other all-Japan teams, under coach Inokuma, work hard on rigorous training and head for New York, where the world's strongest players await.

In the first round the team was immediately overwhelmed by the outstanding stamina of the American players, but the team managed. The final match has finally arrived. In order to defeat the spikes of the Soviet team, Kozue and her team devised a secret plan. Where will the glory shine? The time of the decisive battle is approaching.
